Weapons training for proper handcuff and baton use, use of force, and tactical communications:

TRAINING CURRICULUM OVERVIEW:

Interforce International Security Training Centre provides MInistry approved weapons training for proper use of two of the most commonly used weapons used by security guards: Handcuffs and batons. Use of force training and tactical communications is also taught to students in order for them to gain valuable knowledge on how to apply force effectively and responsibly, as well as how to diffuse hostile situations without the last resort of using force for compliance. Pressure points and takedown maneuvers are taught to students in preparation for real life arrest scenarios.

PRE-REQUISITES:

All applicants must possess a valid security guard license in the Province of Ontario, NO EXCEPTIONS.

COURSE LENGTH:

Weapons training generally takes 8 hours to complete. Courses will be held in board rooms where students will have plenty of room to study the course materials, and engage in physical hands on weapons training.
