FIRST AID & CPR TRAINING CLASSES:

Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adult subjects (CPR level “C” involves cardiopulmonary resuscitation for child and infant patients). This includes scene assessment, legal implications of first aid, victim assessment and when to call EMS. | |
Respiratory Emergencies. This includes emergencies such as allergic reactions and asthma. |

Cardiovascular system emergencies such as heart attacks and strokes. Candidates will learn to recognize and manage serious circulatory emergencies. |

Skeletal Injuries. These injuries include broken bones, fractures and other bone related injuries. Candidates will learn to recognize, manage and immobilize these injuries. |

Major and minor wound treatment including cuts, scrapes and lacerations. |
All of these subject areas are going to be covered in depth in a Red Cross emergency first aid program with “hands on” training using the latest equipment.

The length of an emergency first aid training course is dependent upon the number of participants and skill level of the candidates. The level of CPR training partnered with the course can also affect the length of the program. Emergency first aid and CPR lessons vary between 8-10 hours.
The fee to enroll in our first aid & CPR course is $77.00. Payments are made in person at our office or on-line. We accept cash, cheque, money order, and credit card payments.
Individuals that pass emergency 1st aid and CPR will receive a card stating that you have completed the training course. This certificate also states education in CPR and also the use of AED’s. Certificate provided satisfy all government, academic and workplace standards for emergency first aid training.
If you need to renew emergency first aid certification you may be eligible to attend a re-certification class. These kinds of lessons are provided for individuals who have formerly been awarded an emergency first aid, CPR and AED card and would like to renew certification via the Canadian Red Cross.
